Flow with Confidence
Kristi Broes, Owner / Instructor
Kristi Broes is the wife of Salvatore Broes and the mother of 4 precious children, Gabriel, Landen, Sofia, and Abbie. She was born in Albany, GA, and moved to Atlanta in 1991. Kristi started her journey into yoga ten years ago when she was introduced to Baptiste Yoga and experienced the amazing transformation that Baron’s “Journey Into Power” sequence facilitated and created in her life. She immediately fell in love with the physical benefits of yoga and the spiritual and mental empowerment that yoga brought into her life. It enhanced her relationship with her kids, her friendships, and most importantly, her walk with the Lord! She can not wait to share her passion and this journey with everyone in her life!
On a friends’ suggestion to take a hot yoga class, Angel fell in love with yoga and began practicing in 2014. Yoga quickly became an essential step on her path to self-care and self-love. She is forever grateful to all the teachers who shared their love and light with her over the years and is honored to share this love and light with others.
In 2019, Angel received her 200-hour power yoga teacher certification through Performance Power Yoga in Lawrenceville, GA. She is currently enrolled in 300YTT at John’s Creek Yoga. She has also obtained certifications to teach Yin and Restorative Yoga.
She holds a MA in Education and a MA in Pastoral Counseling. Despite her academic accomplishments, her biggest accomplishment is being the mother of four amazing children.
With her experience in early childhood education and her current passion as a therapist, Angel leads a dynamic practice that focuses on breathwork, intentional movement, stillness, and discovering the relationship between body, mind, and spirit.

Hi, I am Sara Leonard. I am a mom first and foremost of 3 precious children, Rameena, 14, Sqamaya, 11, and Taraz, 8. I taught group fitness for six years and then took a break. I’ve been an avid gym rat for over 15 years and learned so much about myself in this personal journey. I have been obese, I have been fit, survived Multi-follicular Papillary Carcinoma, and have recently discovered that I now have an auto-immune disease, allowing me to learn about myself all over again!
This journey has been and is very sacred and personal, and I hope you let me be a part of your journey as well! We can be stronger together and build a great foundation of community!

Kristen is currently enrolled in our 200 Hour YTT. She is a dedicated wife and a wonderful mother of two boys, Jacob & Nathan. She is from Suwannee, GA, and relocated to the Cumming area in 2017. Kristen started her yoga journey with Dove Yoga’s owner, Kristi, in March 2019. She came into yoga looking for physical exercise, relief from lower back pain, and Corporate-America-burnout/anxiety.
After a few classes at Dove Yoga, she was amazed by the immediate benefits of adding yoga into her life. She found strength and calmness within yoga and has since deepened her study and application of the practice for the past two years.
She finally took the leap of wanting to share her love for yoga with others when she signed up for Learning Doves YTT. She believes yoga offers the ultimate balance for living a healthy, happy, and honest life.
Her classes will offer students the experience of strength and calmness for their “mind, body, and soul.” Her journey has given her the gift of helping others leave with a sense of being focused and confident to live their best life!
She is super excited to share her newfound passion and beautiful growth with you.
Like many of her students, Hanalei SUP Yoga founder Jana Rife began practicing yoga to improve flexibility and relieve stress and anxiety. With her love for water, nature, yoga, and paddleboarding, she quickly turned her hobbies into a professional passion. Jana wanted to help others experience yoga and stand-up paddleboarding’s incredible mind-body benefits. She holds an E-RYT 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification registered with Yoga Alliance, a SUP Yoga Certification from Lazy Dog Paddle Yoga in Key West, Florida. She is a PaddleFit PRO coach and has a World Paddle Association Class ll Instructor Certification.
In addition, Jana has a diploma in Aromatic Medicine and is a Certified Aromatherapist with more than a decade of experience in aromatherapy. Jana’s yin and restorative yoga classes often incorporate guided meditation and a sensory experience with essential oils.
The practice of yoga has been an essential part of my life for over 20 years. At first, attracted to the practice as a part of a physical fitness routine, I found my true passion for yoga during a time of intense turmoil that threatened to turn my world upside down. The comfort and strength I found in yoga provided me the tools I needed to put the pieces of my life back together and find growth both in spirit and in body. It is this healing journey that inspires me to guide others. I received my training through North Georgia Yoga Center in Dahlonega, Georgia, and currently teach at studios in Cumming and Gainesville. In my classes, you will experience creative sequences and purposeful intention. My goal as a yoga teacher is to offer students a space for self-healing, mental clarity, and occasional laughter. When not teaching, I spend time with my four fur babies and family, expressing my creativity through jewelry design and essential oil blending, and finding new ways to deepen my practice, including SUP yoga, aerial yoga, and sound therapy.
Sofia Broes, Kids Yoga Instructor
Sofia Broes is 11 years old and lives in Cumming, GA, with her dad, stepmom, two brothers, and one sister. She loves to ride horses and her skateboard, and of course, practice yoga.
Her favorite thing about yoga is helping kids learn about all the different poses and how they can stay healthy if they practice the poses. Since her stepmom owns a yoga studio, she has inspired Sofia to DO and BE yoga – and Sofia is exceptionally great at both!
Sofia looks forward to teaching the kids in her community all the wonderful things that she has learned about doing this amazing practice that we call yoga! She can’t wait to see you soon!
